Location photography begins with the environment: how a place is entered, used, and understood. Coverage can combine establishing views with smaller observations of weather, material, movement, and detail. The result is a connected set of photographs rather than a collection of interchangeable scenes.

Assignments can be shaped for businesses, publications, tourism or travel-related use, and other commercial or editorial needs. Access, timing, weather, required views, deliverables, and intended use are established before the shoot so the setting can be represented accurately.

Images built around the story and its use.

Editorial coverage is planned around what the reader needs to understand. A useful edit may include broad context, transitions, subject details, and flexible horizontal and vertical compositions for print or digital layouts. Any people, properties, or restricted spaces are photographed only with the access agreed for the assignment.

Existing landscape and location photographs may also be available for publication or commercial licensing where appropriate. Licensing is confirmed for the individual image and intended use.
